March to the End of the Line, Red Head, NB May 30,l 2015

I was there. It was a powerful and moving experience. I saw Alma Brooks and the other First Nations elders conduct the pipe ceremony on the beach at Red Head, on the shores of the Bay of Fundy. I had the profound sense that this small, quiet act, supported by hundreds of Indigenous and Settlers standing together to protect the planet, could stop the pipeline.
